Gear Review – OMM Trio Chest Pouch

The OMM Trio Chest Pouch is a very useful piece of kit enabling easy access to gear during your walk such as maps, GPS, phone, camera and snacks.  It attaches easily to OMM packs such as the Jirishanca and with  a bit of adaption – others such as the Osprey packs.

I got one last year and I’m very pleased with it. I use it for carrying my DSLR with zoom lens attached and it’s very good, it doesn’t jiggle about at all and doesn’t obstruct downward vision. I did a review of it in the Gear&Tech section.

    • Geoff – I remember your review on the Trio – one of the deciding factors for me to buy it. I think it is a very useful bit of kit and for the benefits I get out of it – also one of the most cost effective.

      • Geoff – just to add, gear reviews by fellow walkers/backpackers are one of the real benefits to reading the outdoor blogs – something which would be hard to find elsewhere.
