Just back from a fantastic 4 days in The Lakes. A two and half day backpacking trip with Terry Abraham. Chris Townsend joining us for the second night wild camp. Friday and Saturday spent at the Keswick Mountain Festival with 15 hours of continuous rain! and finally watching the premiere of Terry and Chris’s excellent The Cairngorms in Winter film on Saturday night at George Fishers. It was chance to meet old and new faces in the pubs of Keswick and the festival show stands including Dave Mycroft from My Outdoors, Daniel – TGO, Carey ex TGO and now with BMC, Stewart Smith, the Lakeland photographer and Phil Turner fellow blogger and now at Outdoor Enthusiast.
I will review the film and post a trip report shortly but here is a flavour …….
